We brought him back a burger and fries from Central Park (a place they used to go as kids) and while we were all eating...we just couldn't stop laughing! Tyler had a piece of the straw wrapper on his finger and he touched his lip and then hurried and sucked it in because he thought it was food. Larry was like "No Tyler don't eat that!" Tyler hurried and spit out like all of his food on Larry hahah it was so funny! Tyler was such a BLAST to hang out with today. These are all the pictures from lunch. I had to show you Tyler laughing and smiling because I know those are the best!
He was on one today haha he wouldn't stop talking (which we loved) and making jokes! They talked a ton about funny memories they had growing up together which was really good for all of them. We could totally understand him no problems. And if we did have a hard time at all, he would slow it down and try and talk clearer. He was able to finish his entire hamburger and half of his fries. He also ate some candy that his mom brought him which he loved.
We all couldn't stop laughing...it was such a good lunch!
We hung outside for a little while because it was so nice. After that we pretty much just had a couple really good talks with him and then we left.
I was trying to secretly take another picture of him because he was about to kill me...but he smiled for me!
We were with him for awhile and I wish I could tell you guys everything we did and everything we talked about but I don't even know...all I know is that today was a VERY good day for Tyler!

I am speechless! I...I don't even know what to say you guys. These pictures are more him than any other picture we have taken of him. Seriously, it's truly amazing. I cannot believe how well he did today....and that he was talking to you guys. When we were there the other day he literally couldn't talk. It's....see I'm speechless. Thank you for being such great friends to him. I am glad to see that Rick still goes up when he can. I am sure Danny would too, but he probably has a lot going on. Thank you for the post.
How awesome! I'm so glad you guys go up there so often! Just looking at those pictures of him laughing is so refreshing and makes me cry! I love you all so much and pray for Tyler all the time! You guys are great friends to him and I know he'll remember everything you have done for him!
I agree, I can't believe how much sunshine you bring his way. It looks like the good ol days when they would sit around the couch and just laugh at eachother. I pray for you all the time Tyler and wish you well.
Wow, I too am speechless. I am so relieved that he is doing so much better. Friday was a really hard day for him and for me to see him in the state of mind he was in. To see him like this is so great. And to know he is talking again too, it makes me so so so happy. Man, it makes me sound like I was overreacting or being too dramatic in my prior posts compared to how he is now. It sounds like his body is getting use to the medication and is adjusting well to it.
Thanks to all of you for being so supportive and such great friends. He is truly blessed to have you guys and we are too. Like I said before, family is one thing but friends are another and we are all so blessed to have you guys as friends.
I am so happy I can't express it enough. I hope he will continue on this path and get better and better.
Oh I'm so happy that he is doing so well!!!! You were making me cry when you told me he wasn't doing well. I don't even know the kid and he makes me cry. Dang Tyler!!
Those are the BEST pictures I've seen yet!!! I too am so glad that you guys go up! I can't wait until he gets to come home. He looks so dang cute and...WOW, what a smile... it's totally from the gut!!! I love it We should all laugh that hard, it would do us good!!!
