Tyler Brent Gearhart (Bodie) Tyler Brent Gearhart, age 23, was called home Thursday, April 30, 2009 in Ogden, Utah. He was born February 17, 1986 to R. Michael and Lou Ann Turville Gearhart in Salt Lake City, Utah. He fought a courageous battle with drug addiction. Tyler had a loving personality and was loved by all who knew him. He had a contagious smile and a wonderful laugh. His quick whit and sense of humor captured everyone's love. Tyler loved his family, friends and his two dogs. He especially loved family gatherings. He was a very respectful young man, always saying please and thank you. He was always a very caring person by putting others first. Tyler graduated from Copper Hills High School in 2004. He loved all sports, especially football, basketball and snowboarding. Tyler was a true fan of the Oakland Raiders. Tyler is survived by his parents and three brothers and three sisters. Corey, Holly (Troy) Johnson, Jamie (Gene) Slater, Michael, Shawn and Lisa (Brandon) Robbins. He has nine nieces and nephews and a very special friend Tehra Dunn. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain Shadows 4th Ward Chapel, 8136 Old Bingham Hwy. West Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. and Monday, May 4, 2009 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at the West Jordan City Cemetery. Larry was able to speak at Tyler's funeral and he did an amazing job. Tyler meant the world to everyone he came in contact with. We love Tyler's family and we will always stay very close with them. They are our second family...we love you guys so much! Thanks for everything!
Well if you can't tell our life has been pretty crazy. I graduated Friday morning with my associates degree in Behavioral Science. I was also able to graduate with honors so that was nice! I worked pretty hard for that! So glad it is done though.
We had an amazing speaker at my graduation. Thomas S. Monson. He did amazing and it was a cool feeling because before Tyler passed, I told him he better be at my graduation. Well...after hearing who the speaker was, I knew Ty would be there.
It was an awesome feeling to graduate....I'M DONE! Hahah I love you babe.
Thank you to Larry and my family for helping me through school...I couldn't have graduated sane without you!
After my family and Larry's family all had a little get together which was nice. And I also got a nice little suprise from Larry, my mom, dad, Shawn, and James, a videocamera!! I was so excited! Thanks guys!
On Saturday my mom and I threw my sister a baby shower. Look at her cute little/big belly! Haha It was really fun and we had so much freakin food.
By the way, I made the cupcakes from scratch!! I couldn't even believe they turned out good!
Larry and James were troopers during both parties! Thanks guys!

Congratulations again on graduating. What an amazing feeling, and to do it with honors...good for you! I was saddened to hear about Tylers passing. What a nice looking guy he was and I'm sure a great friend as well. Just remember the good times and all the fun memories you had with him.
Awww..Shawns little belly is cute! She is going to be a great mom I am sure. I am sure he will be one 'spoiled' little guy by grandma..teehee!

YEAH!!!!! You should be sooooo proud! You did do a great job and "I" am very proud of you!!! It was a lot of stuff in a short period of time... what an emotional roller-coaster ride. But, in true "Ashley" style... you pulled it off. Thank you for everything and letting me be apart of it all.
